North Pembrokeshire Trade and Tourism

North Pembrokeshire Trade and Tourism Ltd is an association of local businesses that works to strengthen the local economy and the community that depends on it.

Our current work includes; a campaign to promote the area through social media channels – do see our Facebook or Instagram pages (Visit Fishguard and Goodwick) and the YouTube channel of the same name. We support local tour businesses to demonstrate to visitors the wonders of the area. We advertise Fishguard and Goodwick in the National Park’s “Coast to Coast”.

As a trade association we have strong links with agencies which promote the area. Download the free app (Port Places) which will guide visitors to local attractions and showcase stories and legends. We work with the Community Rail Partnership to increase rail travel to help reduce transport pollution, aiming to boost the number of visitors arriving by train and provide a map at the train station showing where key locations can be found.

We promote the main local events in the digital display at Fishguard bus station.

As an associate of Chambers Wales we contribute to the lobbying of Welsh Government on business needs and we provide regular updates from Government to our members.

We work closely with Stena with visiting cruise ships, providing key information for cruise companies and supporting the award-winning Fishguard Bay Welcome team which we helped create in 2016. Our promotional vehicle is part of the welcome gateway that cruise passengers experience when they arrive. We arrange home-hosting for one cruise company’s passengers which acknowledges that this is the highlight of their customer’s cruises.
